With foreign journalists not allowed to report from Syria, citizen journalists in that country have been coming into their own to help get information about the anti-government uprising out.<br /><br />Rami al-Jarrah, a Syrian political activist and blogger who fled the country after having been arrested and tortured by security forces, has been helping train these activists.<br /><br />He speaks to Al Jazeera about his experience in Syrian prison and his work with citizen journalists.
