Floods and mudslides continued to strike rural and urban areas in central and southern China, killing dozens and forcing residents to evacuate, China's state broadcaster CCTV reported. Rain-triggered floods have killed 10 people and affected over 2 million others in central China's Hubei province. Rainstorms in Guizhou Province have also left at least 11 people dead and affected over 900,000 others since Wednesday. Reportedly most of the deaths were caused by mountain torrents, landslides and avalanches triggered by rainstorms.

RT LIVE http://rt.com/on-air

Subscribe to RT! http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=RussiaToday

Like us on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/RTnews
Follow us on Twitter http://twitter.com/RT_com
Follow us on Google+ http://plus.google.com/b/102728491539958529040

RT (Russia Today) is a global news network broadcasting from Moscow and Washington studios.
