The Romanian parliament has upheld a court decision to reinstate the country's President Traian Basescu.<br /><br />Basescu was suspended after a political row and Prime Minister Victor Ponta's leftist alliance tried to have him impeached via a referendum.<br /><br />The vote proved invalid as less than 50 per cent of the electorate voted.<br />http://www.euronews.net/
