Police in Essex search for a lion thought to have escaped from a traveling circus...<br /><br />Full story:<br /><br />Lion on the loose in the UK.<br /><br />And British police are taking no chances, sending out a full squadron to search for the ferocious feline.<br /><br />But hunting for the "King of the Jungle" at night is no easy task, and these brave officers are yet to set sights on the big cat.<br /><br />Residents were told to stay at home, but many opted instead for the local pub.<br /><br />[Dave Sparks, Pub Landlord]:<br />"We've had karaoke here tonight and everyone carried on enjoying themselves.
