A group of Arab League officials has arrived in the Syrian capital, Damascus.<br /><br />They are preparing the way for a larger group of observers, who will monitor the implementation of an Arab League plan to stop the violence in Syria.<br /><br />But activists say at least 24 people have been killed on Thursday alone, across Idlib, Hama, Homs, Deraa and Latakia. <br /><br />Idlib has experienced some of the worst violence. About 111 people have been killed there since Monday.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Zeina Khodr reports from Hatay, across the border in Southern Turkey.
