A 15-year-old girl from the US who ran away from home in late 2010 has been reunited with her family in Texas after being mistakenly deported to Colombia.<br /><br />Jakadrien Lorece Turner, who was still on her own in April 2011, was arrested for minor theft and gave details that matched those of a 21-year-old Colombian woman who had entered the country without proper documents.<br /><br />Turner was deported to Colombia in the following month, although she reportedly does not speak any Spanish.<br /><br />After a Facebook connection in which her grandmother was able to find her, Turner is now home in Texas, but could face charges for falsifying her identity and misleading officials.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Bhanu Bhatnagar reports.
