American, European and Asian carmakers are scheduled to unveil their new models this week at the North American International Auto Show.<br /><br />Commonly called "The Detroit Auto Show", it is considered the barometer for the entire industry.<br /><br />And this year, US car makers will be given the opportunity to show the world how they have recovered from near collapse from just a few years ago.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Barbara Benitez reports.
