London's skyline has a new and controversial addition that is also Europe's tallest building.<br /><br />The Shard is a 300-metre-high structure resembling a church spire and is due to be completed in time for this year's Olympics in London.<br /><br />But the mega-structure is finding itself the object of some piercing criticisms. <br /><br />Al Jazeera's Laurence Lee reports from London.
