Pakistan, a country with large reserves of natural gas, is suffering from a shortage of the resource amongst industries, who rely on it to generate power.<br /><br />The knock-on effect from the industries shutting down for long periods is that millions are going without work, in an economy that is already reeling from multiple shocks.<br /><br />The latest gas shortage has led to widespread protests against the government, particularly in central Punjab, the heartland of Pakistan's industries.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Imtiaz Tyab reports from Faisalabad, Pakistan.
