US presidential hopeful Mitt Romney has won a resounding victory in Florida's Republican primary election.<br /><br />He beat his nearest rival Newt Gingrich in a campaign that was marked by personal and vicious attacks between the two men. <br /><br />Addressing his supporters after his win, Romney promised to offer a "winning ticket for America" at the general election in November.<br /><br />Two other candidates, Ron Paul and Rick Santorum, didn't campaign in the Sunshine state.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Andy Gallacher reports from Tampa, Florida.
