Floodwaters in Australia are threatening to deluge towns in southern Queensland.<br /><br />An 18-month-old toddler drowned on Sunday and the Balonne River is expected to reach an all time peak on Tuesday.<br /><br />Authorities have called for an evacuation of the town of St George, which has a population of 2,500 people.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Andrew Thomas reports from Brisbane.
