ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />STORY: Republicans were finally set to begin the business of their convention Tuesday (August 28), after it was delayed a day by Tropical Storm Isaac.<br/> <br />Actor Jon Voight, a supporter of the GOP, visited the convention floor before events got underway.<br/> <br />"It's important that anyone is here for Mitt Romney because he's a fellow who can help turn this thing around. We're in a lot of trouble economically, politically, militarily, and somebody's got to right the ship and bring us back to who we are, and America has been a force in the world that has been a force for good, and we've been sitting on the sidelines," Voight said.<br/> <br />New Jersey governor Chris Christie, Callista and Newt Gingrich were seen preparing for their convention appearances.<br/> <br />Also providing their support to the GOP was band "3 Doors Down."
