As Hurricane Isaac starts to make its presence known in New Orleans residents in low lying areas of the city are taking refuge in shelters.<br/> <br />Some can not afford to lose anything.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) RACHEL PEOPLES, RESIDENT OF PLAQUEMINES PARISH, SAYING:<br/> <br />"I'm living in an old trailer, not a new one, and I just hope and pray that the storm doesn't take it."<br/> <br />For some there is still the memory of Katrina -- a category 3 hurricane that slammed into the city seven years ago and claimed at least 1,800 lives.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) AVANEL TERRANCE, PALQEMINES PARISH NATIVE, SAYING:<br/> <br />"They say it is a category 1 so I am not too worried as much as I was during Katrina but we are worried a little bit."<br/> <br />Forecasts show the storm -- already pounding the Mississippi coast -- coming ashore in the late on Tuesday, possibly taking direct aim at New Orleans.
