Greece's economic crisis has done nothing to stem the flow of illegal immigrants, for whom it's a key way into the European Union.<br /><br />The EU says that 55,000 people were caught entering Greece from Turkey in 2011- an estimated 17 per cent increase on 2010.<br /><br />They arrive in Greece hoping to move on to wealthier countries.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Barnaby Phillips reports, they often end up being stuck there, in increasingly desperate conditions.
