Thousands of workers in Indonesia have protested against a 33 per cent rise in the cost of fuel.<br /><br />The government says current fuel subsidies cost them billions each year, but for 100 million Indonesians living on two dollars per day, the latest in a series of hikes is a step too far: low income workers say they are effectively being priced off the roads.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Step Vaessen reports from Jakarta, Indonesia.
