Scientists have identified a protein leading to baldness in men.<br /><br />After analysing the scalps of bald men, the scientists found that the levels of the PGD2 protein were three times higher in the balding areas of the head. <br /><br />Scientists are now faced with the challenging of limiting or blocking the inhibiting effects of the protein.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Simon McGregor Wood reports.
