According to rights groups, more than half of the population of the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, live in slums.<br /><br />A new radio project in the city hopes to change perceptions of the millions of people in sub-Saharan African cities who live in slums.<br /><br />The Radio Slum Project seeks to help residents of these impoverished areas share their experiences on radio stations around Africa.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Nazanine Moshiri reports from Nairobi.
