Senegal, the only country in West Africa that did not suffer a military coup, has added yet another feather to its cap.<br /><br />The country saw a peaceful run-off presidential election on Monday with opposition candidate Macky Sall defeating incumbent President Abdoulaye Wade.<br /><br />Fifty-year-old Sall is working on forming a new government.<br /><br />Working fast on the steep cost of living is high on the agenda, Sall told Al Jazeera.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Andrew Simmons reports from Dakar.
