Captain Amadou Sanogo, Mali's coup leader, says he will hold a national convention on Thursday to determine the country's future. <br /><br />This announcement comes despite harsher sanctions from its West African neighbours, and a losing battle against Tuareg rebels in the North.<br /><br />But, the Taureg rebels are facing divisions of their own.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Hashem Ahelbara reports from Bamako.
