Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari, accompanied by his son and political heir apparent, Bilawal, has concluded a one-day visit to India during which he met the Indian prime minister, Manmohan Singh. <br /><br />He is the first Pakistani leader to visit the country since 2005.<br /><br />The two countries have gone to war three times since gaining independence from Britain in 1947, with Kashmir - an area divided between the states for over 60 years - still a very sensitive issue. <br /><br />While Sunday's talks were private, Singh said the aim was to normalise relations between the neighbours. <br /><br />Al Jazeera's Sohail Rahman reports from New Delhi
