Rescuers have freed nine copper miners who had been trapped underground for seven days after a cave-in in southern Peru. <br /><br />Everyone is relieved that they were rescued alive, but questions remain about the safety of thousands of illegal miners like them. <br /><br />Al Jazeera's Mariana Sanchez reports from Ica, Peru.
