After weeks of fighting along the Sudanese border, Sudan's President Omar al-Bashir has declared victory against his southern neighbour.<br /> <br />South Sudan announced it will withdraw its troops from the Heglig oil region, in response to international pressure.<br /> <br />The news was met with celebrations in Khartoum as Al Jazeera's Peter Greste reports.
