As the Italian government continues to cut public spending and more than two million people find themselves out of a work, suicides are an increasing problem in society. <br /><br />In the country's historically wealthier northern region, the Veneto, people pride themselves for their entrepreneurial skills, having nurtured small family holdings for years and often turning them into thriving companies.<br /><br />But, as the economic crisis deepens, the business people of the Veneto are no exception to the rising crisis of people taking their own lives.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Claudio Lavanga reports from Asolo.
