Thousands of protesters have taken to the streets of Moscow one day before Vladimir Putin is sworn into office as Russia's new President.<br /><br />The rally began peacefully, but soon turned violent.<br /><br />Baton-wielding and helmeted police arrested at least 400 in the Russian capital.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Sue Turton was there.
