Europe's financial problems have dominated talks at the G-8 summit held near the US capital, Washington DC.<br /><br />The leaders have re-affirmed their commitment to promoting growth and creating jobs.<br /><br />The uprising in Syria, along with the nuclear ambitions of North Korea and Iran were also discussed. <br /><br />Al Jazeera's Alan Fisher reports from Washington.
