The Syrian army is tightening control along its border with Turkey to cut the supply routes for Syrian opposition fighters.<br /><br />To thwart the cross-border traffic, the army has employed land mines and snipers to shut down what Damascus says are smuggling routes. <br /><br />But activists say the enhanced enforcement will negatively impact thousands of refugees who want to flee the violence by crossing into Turkey. <br /><br />Al Jazeera's Hashem Ahelbarra reports from Guvecci on the Syria-Turkey border.
