Countries around the world are marking the United Nations' Global Day Against Tobacco. <br /><br />Despite strict controls in many countries on the sale and advertising of tobacco products, sales continue to remain strong, and share prices continue to rise.<br /><br />The World Health Organisation says that while there have been successes in forcing tobacco companies to conform to health warning regulations, those companies are now undermining anti-smoking campaigns.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Laurence Lee reports.
