Turkey says it's going to consult with its NATO allies over what to do after Syria shot down one of its military jets.<br /><br />The Turkish foreign minister has acknowledged that the reconnaissance aircraft strayed into Syrian airspace.<br /><br />But he says it was not armed - and that Damascus did not follow internationally recognised procedures.<br /><br />Cal Perry reports on why Turkey is turning to NATO, and Anita McNaught reports from the Turkish coastline.
