Bashar al-Assad, Syria's president, says he is not willing to accept any foreign solution to the conflict in his country. <br /><br />His assertion comes as joint United Nations and Arab League Envoy Kofi Annan has been pushing for the acceptance of a new proposal involving the formation of a unity government.<br /><br />Speaking during an interview on Iranian state television, Assad said that only Syrians know how to resolve the crisis in the country.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Dorsa Jabbari reports.
