Police and protestors have clashed in Ukraine over a bill passed on Tuesday making Russian an official language in areas where people speak it.<br />Ukraine's president Viktor Yanukovich says he may call a snap parliamentary election if the crisis continues. <br />Though the bill's not on the statute books quite yet, there's still a fierce struggle taking place in Ukraine between its Russian-leaning past, and a modern sense of independent nationalism. <br />Al Jazeera's Rory Challands reports from Kiev, Ukraine.
