Clashes with Kurdish militants have left nine Turkish security officials, and at least 20 militants dead. The fighting happened near the southern Turkish border with Syria and Iraq. <br />Ankara has linked a recent upsurge in violence with the Kurdistan Workers Party on the conflict in Syria.
