Residents in the Mexican town of Cheran have taken up arms against illegal loggers.<br /><br />They say the authorities are corrupt and have done nothing to stop loggers stripping the local pine forest of trees.<br /><br />The economy of Cheran, a town of 17,000 people, relies on this forest.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Adam Raney reports from Cheran.
