With 45 per cent of the electorate voting for impeachment, a referendum against Romaina's suspended leader Traian Basescu is unlikely to pass. <br /><br />Basescu was accused of interfering with the daily running of the country and of using the secret services against his political rivals.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Rory Challands reports from Bucharest.
