Wildfires in northern Portugal have claimed the life of one man as he tried to douse the flames around his farm near Ourem. Two others were hurt when a helicopter crashed in the same area.<br />More than 1700 firefighters and up to 500 vehicles are battling the flames amid a severe drought which has left the forest areas tinder dry.<br />http://www.euronews.net/
