There has been mixed reactions in Colombia to the government's plans to reopen peace talks with the guerilla group FARC. <br /> <br />President Juan Manuel Santos has confirmed negotiations with the group will start on October 5. <br /> <br />The rebels have been at odds with the government for decades and some Colombians say only a military solution is possible.<br /> <br />Al Jazeera's Kristen Saloomey reports.
