ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION<br/> <br />A young Chinese girl was pulled to safety on Wednesday after she was trapped under a bus that lost control on a road in eastern China.<br/> <br />Onlookers said the bus was dodging an oncoming car when it swerved and hit the three-year-old girl, who was on her bike on the sidewalk, in Laiyang city, Shandong province.<br/> <br />Footage shown by official broadcaster CCTV showed rescue workers gathering around the front of the bus which she was pinned under.<br/> <br />After digging for around eight minutes, rescuers were able to loosen the soil under her body and pull her out to safety.<br/> <br />She was taken to a local hospital, where doctors confirmed that she had no serious injuries, local media said.
