U.S. President Barack Obama hit the campaign trail in the battle ground state of Florida Saturday where he continued to target Republican plans to cut taxes.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA SAYING:<br/> <br />"All they've got to offer is the same prescriptions they've had for 30 years. Tax cuts, tax cuts, gut a few regulations, some more tax cuts. Tax cuts when times are good and tax cuts when times are bad. Tax cuts to help you lose a few extra pounds. Tax cuts to help your love life. (SOMEONE IN THE AUDIENCE SHOUTING RESPONSE) Say, somebody said it doesn't help."<br/> <br />On Friday Republican rival Mitt Romney launched a blistering attack on Obama over disappointing jobs figures.<br/> <br />Obama, entered office during the darkest days of the recession, and has brought unemployment down from a peak of 10 percent in his first year. But the President has been unable to crack the 8 percent barrier - a fact that Romney's camp continues to stress.<br/> <br />Polls show Obama holds a slight edge over Mitt Romney
