School is out in Chicago Monday as public school teachers stage their first strike in a quarter century.<br/> <br />The teachers walked out over reforms sought by Mayor Rahm Emanuel and endorsed by President Barack Obama's administration.<br/> <br />Some 29,000 teachers and support staff in the nation's third largest school district are involved in the strike. Some 350,000 students have been impacted by the walkout.<br/> <br />The strike has become a politically sensitive issue for the President as the November election approaches.<br/> <br />While Obama is expected to win Illinois, union anger could spill over into neighboring Midwest states where the election with Republican Mitt Romney is much closer.
