Smoke rises after a deadly bomb ripped through the motorcade of Yemen's defence minister in the capital Sanaa.<br/> <br />Major General Muhammad Nasir Ahmad escaped the assassination attempt unharmed.<br/> <br />But at least five body guards were killed and several others were wounded in the Tuesday attack.<br/> <br />A security source told Reuters that the blast originated from a booby trapped car that exploded when moved.<br/> <br />No one has claimed responsibility for the motorcade bombing, just a week after a key al-Qaeda member was killed in Yemen.<br/> <br />This is the fourth attempt on Ahmad's life since Yemen's government was formed in December.
