Anti-American protests rage near the U.S. Embassy in the Yemeni capital, a day after demonstrators stormed the compound, angry over a film deemed blasphemous to Islam.<br/> <br />The low-budget video, produced in the United States, depicts the Prophet Mohammed as a fraud, a philanderer and a womaniser - angering many in the Muslim world.<br/> <br />Violence has flared in cities across the Middle East this week in reaction to the film, with Western embassies tightening security.<br/> <br />In Sanaa, security forces fired warning shots and used water cannons to quell the protest.<br/> <br />All streets leading to the U.S. embassy were blocked.<br/> <br />One protester said he came to defend Islam and to call for the producer of the controversial film to be punished.<br/> <br />At least one person died and 15 were injured in clashes at the embassy the previous day.
