Calvin Klein designer Francisco Costa dreamed up an erotic collection for Spring 2013, which he showed on Thursday (September 13), the last day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (MBFW) in New York.<br/> <br />Costa, known for his tailoring and minimalism, played with conical bustiers popping the bustiers over or under spare-cut dresses - or he let them peek out from under lean jackets.<br/> <br />His mostly ebony and ivory collection included corsets, pencil skirts and cropped pants.<br/> <br />Costa, the creative director of Calvin Klein Women, told Reuters Television about the thinking behind his collection for Spring 2013.<br/> <br />"It's very sultry, it's very exotic, it's very feminine and very luxurious. So that sums up a palette of really blacks and beautiful tan colors in a very feminine silhouette."<br/> <br />Mesh and lace amped up the femme fatale feeling. Embroidery was subtle.<br/> <br />The shoulder was the new erogenous zone, framed by strapless dresses with architectural details.<br/> <br />MBFW ended on Thursday (September 13) in New York, after more than 100 designers showed their Spring 2013 collections at Lincoln Center and other locations throughout the city.
