Unions in South Africa are meeting for their national congress in Johannesburg.<br /><br />The major talking point for delegates will be the violent mining crisis which has gripped the country for the past five weeks.<br /><br />Tens of thousands of miners remain on strike, and many are critical of the close ties between the main labour unions and the ruling ANC party.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Mike Hanna reports from the COSATU conference.
