UN envoy's hope for Syria refugees return

(ROUGH CUT ONLY - NO REPORTER NARRATION)<br/> <br />United Nations envoy Lakhdar Brahimi arrived in the Turkish province of Hatay on Tuesday (September 18) to meet with Syrian refugees sheltering at camps near the border.<br/> <br />Brahimi was briefed by the governor of Hatay, Celalettin Lekesiz, before heading to Altinozu camp where some 1000 refugees are registered.<br/> <br />During talks, Brahimi said he hoped all Syrian refugees would soon be able to return to their homeland.<br/> <br />''We hope that their country will find peace again and that they can return to their country as early as possible,'' he said.<br/> <br />Turkey is home to 83,000 Syrians lodged at 14 refugee camps set up in southern provinces near the border.
