Ice in the Artic sea has officially shrunk to its smallest size ever recorded.<br /> <br />Scientists say this summer's ice melt is roughly the size of Alaska and Canada combined.<br /> <br />But it has still broken two previous records and could be the result of accelerated climate change. <br /> <br />Al Jazeera's Tarek Bazley explains.
