Locals and tourists would not normally hear traditional music in Thailand's hip nightclubs.<br /><br />But one deejay in the capital Bangkok came up with the idea of playing music long associated with cab drivers and rural folks, showing clubbers what they have been missing.<br /><br />The decision paid off and the music is now cool again bringing in record crowds to the night scene.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Florence Looi reports from Bangkok, Thailand.
