In Syria, opposition fighters say they've killed dozens of people in two explosions and fighting at the government's military headquarters.<br /><br />But state TV says only four security guards died and 14 people were injured.<br /><br />The Military headquarters are in the heavily guarded Umayyad Square district. <br /><br />The two explosions were caused by suicide car bombs.<br /><br />The explosions were heard several kilometres away, and shattered the windows of the nearby Dama Rose hotel.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Rula Amin reports from Beirut in neighbouring Lebanon.
