Serial child molester Jerry Sandusky, a former Pennsylvania State University football coach arrives in court Tuesday for sentencing.<br/> <br />The court sentenced him to 30 to 60 years in prison for abusing young, at-risk boys for more than a decade. Deputy Attorney General Joe McGettigan<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERAL, JOE McGETTIGAN SAYING:<br/> <br />"I believe the sentence that the court imposed today was a wise and proper one, and that it reflected the seriousness of the defendants crimes.<br/> <br />Sandusky was convicted on 45 counts of child sex abuse for molesting 10 boys over 15 years, some in the football team's showers on campus.<br/> <br />Defense Attorney Joe Amendola had a different reading on the verdict.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (English) DEFENSE ATTORNEY, JOE AMENDOLA, SAYING:<br/> <br />"We believe had we had the time, that we would have had an opportunity to prove Jerry's innocence."<br/> <br />The 68-year old could spend the rest of his life behind bars.
