<p>Violent clashes between protesters and police were briefly interrupted in Greece on Tuesday when a man braved the raining rocks and teargas and ran stark naked through the streets of Athens to a cheering crowd.</p><br /><p>Greek police fired teargas and wielded batons at demonstrators throwing stones and petrol bombs in central Athens to protest a visit by German Chancellor Angela Merkel.</p><br /><p>The naked protester streaked through the clash site as rocks hit the ground and police chased down rioters. Police could be seen stumbling as they chased and nabbed a protester, while another protester was seen receiving treatment for injury to his head.</p><br /><p>Merkel was meeting the Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras only a few hundred meters away from the clashes. Tens of thousands of austerity-weary Greeks took to the streets in one of the biggest protests in months.</p>
