The space shuttle Endeavour squeezes past a building as it rolls through the streets of Los Angeles.<br/> <br />On its 12-mile (19-km) journey to the California Science Centre, the shuttle narrowly missed a number of structures lining the route.<br/> <br />While traffic lights and trees were felled to make room, organisers said the Endeavour's wings would pass just inches from collision.<br/> <br />It's the largest object ever to move through the city.<br/> <br />The shuttle flew 25 missions for the U.S. space programme, and will become a permanent public attraction at the museum.
