EDIT CONTAINS 4:3 MATERIAL<br/> <br />Protesters hold pictures of people kidnapped by Colombia's FARC rebels ahead of peace talks set to begin Monday.<br/> <br />Members of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia or FARC will start a dialogue with Colombian government officials in Norway - aimed at ending nearly 50 years of conflict.<br/> <br />This isn't the first time FARC rebels and government officials have attempted talks... the last round failed 10 years ago.<br/> <br />But one former FARC member told Reuters he believes this time, the talks may be successful.<br/> <br />(SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) FORMER MEMBER OF THE REVOLUTIONARY ARMED FORCES OF COLOMBIA (FARC), YEZID ARTETA, SAYING:<br/> <br />"What has been agreed between the Colombian government and the FARC is a realistic agreement. It's an agreement that establishes a route map. It's also an architecture of a peace process. There are some relevant issues in there which make me think that both parties finally have made a decision to go ahead with this. And that's something that has been always demanded by the Colombian society."<br/> <br />The talks are due to take place in an unknown location reportedly in the outskirts of the Norwegian capital Oslo before moving to Cuba.
